Lady Deer just miss top 10 finish

The Deer Park girls team was 11th with 86 points, with La Porte (21 points) checking in at No. 16 out of 20 scoring teams.
Senior Kaitlyn McMahon had the highest area finish outside of Smith, placing fourth in the 50 free with a time of 25.63 seconds. The girls 200 medley relay team of senior Sarah Nesrsta, junior Emily Headrick, junior Taylor Ponder and senior Terra Peil was eight with a time of 2:02.44.
The La Porte girls did not place anyone in the championship finals.
