Center to serve dual-credit students

A San Jacinto College Center in La Porte is scheduled to open in January to serve dual-credit students from La Porte school district, the Deer Park Broadcaster reports.
The building will hosue six classrooms and an office area, and the college and school district will coordinate efforts on the dual-credit program, according to the article.
About 200 La Porte High School students have enrolled for dual-credit courses this fall through San Jac.
