Golf event benefits local charities

Registration has begun for Project Management Institute Clear Lake
Galveston Chapter's annual charity golf tournament, which is Oct. 2 at Battleground at Deer Park Golf Course, 1600 Georgia Ave., Deer Park.
Funds raised will benefit Texas Children Cancer Center and Boys and Girls Harbor in La Porte.
