Deer Park league donates to Pearland team

Little Leaguers stick together.
Deer Park Little League has announced that it is donating $1,000 to the Pearland team in the Little League World Series to help cover players' families' travel expenses.
In addition, the Deer Park group is challenging other leagues to follow its lead.
It takes a lot of work to get this far," said Daniel Fenley, president of the Deer Park league, in a press release. "We just want to help them out so those kids can focus on playing baseball and enjoy the moment.
