Girl Scouts' pillows coming to Pasadena library

Junior Girl Scout Troop 8365 has taken on a project that will make visitors to the Pasadena library a little more comfortable.
The girls will present colorful, handmade chair pillows to the library, 1201 Jeff Ginn Memorial Drive, on Friday, July 23, and will host a story time for younger children.
It's all part of a project to earn the Bronze Award, which recognizes leadership and planning skills in a project to make a positive impact on the community.
A Junior Girl Scout is in fourth or fifth grade, age 9-11.
The troop is part of Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council, one of the largest Girl Scout councils in the country that has more than 72,000 girl members and 17,000 adults in 26 southeast Texas counties.
