Police shoot bank robbery suspect

A Pasadena police officer shot and killed a bank robbery suspect this morning, and bomb-squad officers are trying to determine if a box the thief left behind is an explosive device.
The man robbed a Chase bank in the 5100 block of Fairmont Parkway about 9:30 a.m., said Vance Mitchell, spokesman for the Pasadena Police Department.
