Help preserve history
Battleship Texas in La Porte needs youth and adult volunteers to work at the San Jacinto Battleground and Battleship Texas State Park. Volunteers can help with restoration, maintenance, curatorial projects, exhibits and educational programs, and act as a tour guide and participate in living history events on the battleship.
Nursing home needs volunteers
A nursing home in Baytown needs volunteers to lead a group of seniors in arts and crafts activities, such as painting, crocheting and sand art.
Sessions typically take place weekday mornings or afternoons and last about an hour. Adult and teen volunteers are welcome.
Male mentors for
young boys needed
A state agency needs male volunteers to act as mentors to teenaged boys who are in the custody of the juvenile justice system. Training is provided. Time commitments can be flexible.
Hospital needs volunteers
