Five Pasadena runners complete NBA All-Star Fit Run, Walk & Dribble
Five Pasadena athletes completed the NBA All-Star Fit Run, Walk & Dribble on Saturday, Feb. 16 in Houston.
The runners from Pasadena and their finishing times were Raymond Escareno, 15, 22:06; Francisco Lopez, 28, 34:48; Sergio Andrade, 30, 35:59; Kaci Zwahr, 32, 36:03; and Steven Escareno, 12, 37:56.
Race organizers said 465 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Discovery Green.
Eric Speer, of Texas, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 17:50, while Vanessa McGovern, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 19:36.
