Six Pasadena runners complete Rhythm and Blues Half Marathon
Six Pasadena athletes completed the Rhythm and Blues Half Marathon on Sunday, Feb. 10 in Houston.
The runners from Pasadena and their finishing times were Danielle Braffett, 35, 1:59:20; Jesus Martinez, 35, 2:10:16; Larry Gressett, 32, 2:24:09; Kelli Fife, 51, 2:44:00; Zinnia Lerma, 41, 2:57:07; and Allan Reinartz, 57, 3:24:50.
Race organizers said 1,066 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended at Sam Houston Park.
Benjamin Zywicki, of The Woodlands, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:11:54, while Catherine Kruppa, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:32:19.
