Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union looks to raise money for area school
Officials of the Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union announced a competition intended to raise money for a local school.
According to a credit union press release, participants will start clean shaven on Friday, Feb. 1 and have 28 days to grow a mustache. The credit union will share the progress by submitting photos and reports to www.stache4schools.com and on the credit union's Facebook page. On Thursday, Feb. 28, the credit union will collect the final photos.
Last year this competition raised approximately $1,000 for an area school. This year the top prize being offered is $1,500
The Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union is at 5953 Fairmont Parkway, Pasadena.
