Memorial grad Vasquez plays in Maine-Presque Isle loss

Pasadena Memorial High School graduate Gerardo Vasquez scored four points for  University of Maine at Presque Isle as it lost 93-70 at home to Daemen Friday, Jan. 18, the team's website reported.

Vasquez also recorded two assists for the Owls, who are 7-9 on the season.

Vasquez, a 5-foot-8 senior guard for the University of Maine at Presque Isle, is a 2009 graduate of Pasadena Memorial High School. The Houston native is the son of Gerardo and Elizabeth Vasquez.
