Pristine Hospital of Pasadena receives accreditation from DNV Healthcare
Pristine Hospital of Pasadena recently received national accreditation from DNV Healthcare, a hospital accreditation program approved by the US Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
According to a hospital press release, "being accredited by DNV allows Pristine Hospital of Pasadena to receive reimbursement for its patients covered by Medicare and Medicaid. The DNV NIAHOR accreditation program was authorized by CMS in 2008 and today DNV provides not only hospital accreditation but also Primary Stroke Center Certification. Pristine Hospital of Pasadena will now begin the process of becoming compliant with the ISO 9001:2008 standards within three years as is required to maintain its accreditation with DNV."
The announcement was made Wednesday, Dec. 19.
Pristine Hospital is at 1004 Seymour St., Pasadena.
