Pasadena Memorial grad Vasquez plays in University of Maine at Presque Isle loss

Houston native Gerardo Vasquez contributed three points in University of Maine at Presque Isle's 66-58 loss to Maine Maritime Academy on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Smith Gymnasium in Castine, according to University of Maine at Presque Isle's website.

The senior guard also recorded three rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block for the Owls, who are 5-4 on the season.

University of Maine at Presque Isle's next game is at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, on the road against Salem State University.

Vasquez, a 2009 graduate of Pasadena Memorial High School, is the son of Gerardo and Elizabeth Vasquez.
