Pasadena Memorial grad Vasquez plays in loss
Pasadena Memorial High School graduate Gerardo Vasquez contributed two points as his University of Maine at Presque Isle lost 72-66 at home to Maine-Machias Wednesday, Nov. 28, according to the team's website.
Vasquez also recorded three rebounds and two assists for the Owls, who fell to 2-2 on the season.
UMaine-Presque Isle's next game is Saturday, Dec. 1 on the road against Colby.
Vasquez, a 5-foot-8 senior guard, is a 2009 graduate of Pasadena Memorial High School. The Houston native is the son of Gerardo and Elizabeth Vasquez.
