Local educators named to Texas Chiropractic College Board of Regents
The Texas Chiropractic College has named two new board of regents members: Barbara M. Hanson of San Jacinto College and William Theodore Ted Cummings of the University of Houston Clear Lake.
Hanson is vice president for learning at SJC and recently participated in the Executive Leadership Institute from the League for Innovation in the Community College. She has been with SJC since 2009 and has 17 years of experience as an administrator.
Cummings is the dean of the UH-Clear Lake's school of business, a position he has held since 1998. He is a member of several local organizations, including the Bay Area Houston Economic and Transportation Partnerships. Before moving to Texas to teach at UH-Clear Lake, Cummings spent 18 years at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
