Pasadena Memorial grad Vasquez helps Maine-Presque Isle victory
Pasadena Memorial High School graduate Gerardo Vasquez scored two points in the 74-38 victory by his University of Maine at Presque Isle basketball team over Maine Maritime Friday, Nov. 16 at Presque Isle, according to the school's website.
Vasquez also recorded two rebounds, two assists and three steals for the Owls, who got their season off to a good start with the win.
Vasquez, a 5-foot-8 senior guard, is a 2009 graduate of Pasadena Memorial High School. The Houston native is the son of Gerardo and Elizabeth Vasquez.
