The following football player with Pasadena high school ties has scheduled action this week:
Bo Snelson, U.S. Naval Academy
This week: Saturday, Nov. 10, at Troy University
About Snelson: Snelson is a 2009 graduate of Pasadena Memorial High School, where he was a four-sport athlete. He lettered four times in track and field as well as power lifting, and collected three letters each in baseball and football. On the gridiron playing for his father coach John Snelson, he was a two-time all-state honoree and two-time recipient of the Old Spice player of the year award. Snelson was the district offensive most valuable player during his junior (2007-08) and senior seasons (2008-09). He was also team captain as a senior. Off the field, Snelson was class president for three years. The son of John and Mandy Snelson, he is majoring in English at the United States Naval Academy. He is from Pasadena.
