HS football: La Porte 52, Brazoswood 14
Visiting La Porte High School rolled over the Bulldogs of Brazoswood Friday Sept. 21 in varsity football.
Running back Keith Whitely paced the winners with 144 yards rushing and two touchdowns, while receiver Johnanthan Lewis accounted for 81 of the 128 yards and two touchdowns thrown by quarterback Jordan Jackson.
La Porte (3-1) will host Sterling on Friday, Sept. 28. Brazoswood (2-2) will next be at home to Clear Springs on Friday, Oct. 5.
