South Houston High releases 2012 football schedule

South Houston opens its 2012 football season on Friday, Aug. 31 at Summer Creek.

The Trojans' home opener is at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 7 against La Porte. They then immediately go on the road again for a 7 p.m. game on Friday, Sept. 14 at Dickinson, then back home at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, facing Dobie. The first half of the season concludes with a 6 p.m. game on Saturday, Oct. 6 at Pasadena.

The second half begins with a 6 p.m. home game on Saturday, Oct. 13 against Sam Rayburn, followed by a 7 p.m. road game on Friday, Oct. 19 at Pearland. South Houston returns home for a 1 p.m. contest on Saturday, Oct. 27 against Alvin, and a final home game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2 against Pasadena Memorial. The season concludes with a 7 p.m. trip on Friday, Nov. 9 to Manvel.
