Pasadena Parks and Recreation to offer youth soccer program
The Pasadena Parks and Recreation department is offering youth soccer programs for the fall. These programs are open to boys and girls ages 5-13 as of Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012. Practices will be held twice a week and all games will be played on Saturdays at the Deepwater soccer fields, located at 503 Parkwood. League play officially begins on Saturday, Oct. 6 and ends on Saturday, Nov. 17. The cost is $40 for residents and $45 for nonresidents and includes jerseys, shorts and socks. Registration will be open from Tuesday, Sept. 4 through Friday, Sept. 21 at PAL Gym, located at 2910 Southmore in Pasadena. The gym is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. A special Saturday registration period will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15.
