Mourik alleged in the suit that on May 8, it invoiced Air Products and Chemicals $686,513.18 for goods provided and services performed in Luling, La. The suit alleges Air Products refused to pay Mourik this amount, as agreed in the contract.

Mourik is seeking liquidated damages in the amount of $686,513.18, plus interest, attorney's fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney R. Kyle Hawes.
