Bayou Gators announce upcoming schedule

The Bayou City Gators youth football program has announced its upcoming season schedule.    The Gators kick off the season on Saturday, Aug. 18 against the Alvin Raiders at Pasadena High School's home field.    The rest of the schedule features the Gators at home against the Santa Fe Braves on Aug. 25; at Blackhawk Park to face the Southbelt Dolphins on Sept. 1; at El Franco Park to battle the Sagemont Cowboys on Sept. 8; at home against the Pearland Patriots on Sept. 15; at home against the Pearland Hurricanes on Sept. 22; at Austin High School to face the East End Eagles on Sept. 29; at Dobie High School to battle the Ellington Rams on Oct. 13; and at the home turf of Pasadena High School to battle the Pasadena Panthers on Oct. 20. All scheduled Gator games will be held on Saturdays, however, no game will be played on Oct. 6.    The Pasadena High School football field is located at 206 South Shaver St. in Pasadena.    Team pictures from Mitchell's Photography will be taken on Wednesday, Aug. 22 on the practice field and a pizza party will be held after practice on Thursday, Aug. 23.    For more information on the Bayou City Gators and their upcoming season, visit www.leaguelineup.com/welcome.asp?url=bayoucitygators.
