Seabrook seeking donations for equipment for Pine Gully Park Natural Playground
The Seabrook Open Space, Beautification and Preservation Committee is taking donations for Pine Gully Natural Playground.
Construction on the playground is already underway, using only recycled and natural materials to create an environmentally sound and safe playground for young children. The area will feature large embankment slides and other additions that make play for children with disabilities easier.
Donations will go to purchase materials used in creating the playground's sand beds, large boulders, water features, sound gardens and flower beds. Other playground activities include a serpent mound, rock climbs, a zip line and tree forts. Swings will be available with standard seats and seats for children with limited mobility. All of these elements will be created with environmentally friendly equipment.
Donations can be made to the city of Seabrook located at 1700 First St.
