Clear Lake Community Association to hold Camp Clear Lake
The Clear Lake Community Association is offering day camp opportunities for 6-12-year-olds.
Campers can partake in arts and crafts, sports, games and field trips. Swimming is available every day in the outdoor pool. Campers should bring swimsuits and towels.
Certified lifeguards and counselors will supervise swim activities. All supervisors are first-aid and CPR certified. The camper-to-counselor ratio is guaranteed to be less than 10:1.
Parents should provide their children with lunch and an extra drink every day. Camp Clear Lake will provide an afternoon snack.
Camps are broken up by age. Day camp is for ages 6-9, and youth camp is for ages 10-12.
The camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. with camp activities planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Both camps run from Aug. 13-24.
The day camp offers an Olympic program for week one and an outer space theme for week two. The youth camp will focus on fitness in week one and outer space in week two.
The camps are $161 for residents and $230 for nonresidents. Registration is open throughout the summer. Immunization records must be provided for participating children.
Registration can be done online at the Clear Lake Community Association website at www.clcca.org. For more information, call 281-488-0360.
