San Jacinto College Central to hold open auditions for dinner show
San Jacinto College Central will hold open auditions for its September dinner theater production of "The Perils of Truly Sweet."
Up to 30 men and women between the ages of 10 and 82 are needed to act, sing and dance in the family-oriented melodrama.
Auditions for major characters will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1 and Wednesday, Aug. 2. Those interested in minor roles should show up at 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13.
The auditions are open to the public and will be held at Powell Arena Theatre on the San Jacinto College Central Campus, located at 8060 Spencer Highway, in Pasadena.
"The Perils of Truly Sweet" will run from Wednesday, Sept. 5 to Saturday, Sept. 8. Rehearsals will last from 6-10 p.m. on weekdays beginning Friday, Aug. 3.
