John Jameson named president of Weir Seaboard
Weir Oil and Gas named John Jameson as president of Weir Seaboard Wellhead and Pressure Control.
Jameson will be responsible for Weir Seaboard's strategic direction and achievement of yearly sales and profit targets.
He began his career as a field engineer with Halliburton and performed in a variety of roles during a 16-year-period in which he rose to the position of global business unit manager.
After Halliburton, Jameson spent 12 years at Weatherford and was promoted to senior vice president for the U.S. region.
"I am excited about my new role with Weir Seaboard," said Jameson in a press release. "I am looking forward to expanding our line of products and services as unconventional plays in our industry continue to grow."
Jameson has a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an master's degree in business administration from Centenary College.
