Construction on Fairmont Parkway progresses
Fairmont Parkway between the beltway and the Space Center has been restricted to two lanes in each direction due to construction.
Crews will work to add an additional lane during the next several weeks, closing the inside lane in each direction of travel.
Pasadena police officers may be working to direct traffic at major intersections during peak traffic times.
The construction may lead to slower traffic flow and drivers are encouraged to pay attention to new lane markings and signs in the area.
Alternate routes around the construction include Crenshaw and Vista roads.
