Pasadena Police Department arrests 31
The Pasadena Police Department arrested 31 people during a crackdown on drunken driving June 30 through Sunday, July 8.
According to a press release, the department employed extra officers to patrol Pasadena for potentially intoxicated drivers including 28 first- and second-time alleged offenders, as well as one alleged felony offender.
Two arrested drivers reportedly had children younger than the age of 15 with them while allegedly driving impaired.
The program was part of what the release called a "No Refusal Weekend" from July 4 to Saturday, July 7, meaning blood was taken from drivers who refused breath analysis.
