Bishop's Palace now offering self-guided audio tours
Visitors to Galveston’s 1892 Bishop’s Palace can take a new audio tour of the historic landmark.
For more than 40 years, tourists and community members have been able to experience the building’s intricate design work. Through a partnership with Acoustiguide, the site now can be explored using self-guided audio tours.
“This audio tour not only gives visitors a new and exciting tour experience, it also features a newly researched tour,” said Denise Alexander, director of museums and museum programs, in a press release. “There is more information and visitors now get to experience the house at their own pace.”
Tours cost $10 for adults and $7 for ages 6 to 18.
The site is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day, with guided tours available at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily.
