Clear Creek installs new Community Council PTAs

The annual President's Dinner was held on May 24 by the Clear Creek Community Council of PTAs at Clear Springs High School, located at 501 Palomino Lane in League City.
Present at the dinner was Council President Diana Fatora, CCISD Superintendent Dr. Greg Smith, CCISD staff, the CCISD Board of Trustees, school principals, Texas PTA representatives and local unit PTA presidents and board members from CCISD and Dickinson ISD.
The theme for the dinner was "Meet the New Sheriff in Town."
The Clear Springs Blue Rumor Girls Show Choir, directed by Kym Reeves, provided entertainment.
Red River BBQ in League City provided dinner, and the Clear Springs Culinary Arts Program provided dessert.
The PTA Participation Award was given to Parr Elementary PTA for having the largest number of members participating in Texas PTA events throughout the school year.
Retiring council members were recognized by Smith with the presentation of roses in appreciation of their service.
New council officers were announced by Texas PTA Region II Vice President Chris Reeder. The new officers are President Elizabeth Clemente-Nelson, First Vice President Darlene Moore, Second Vice President Svetlana Hanson, Third Vice President Laura Varley, Fourth Vice President Amanda Mark, Secretary Laura Makay, Treasurer Reeneea Ennis and Parliamentarian Linda Wood.
