Bands on the Sand returns to Moody Gardens' Palm Beach

Moody Gardens' Palm Beach kicks off offer another summer of live music with its Bands on the Sand concert series.

In addition to Friday performances, this year features Saturday shows.

Following each performance are fireworks over the pyramids at Moody Gardens and Offatts Bayou.

Upcoming shows, held from 6-10 p.m., include the Wes Loper Band on June 22, Hamilton Loomis on June 23, Dywater on June 29 and Zydeco Dots on June 30.

Moody Gardens also offers a lazy river, wave pool and enclosed tower slides. Other features include white sands, sand volleyball seaside concessions and interactive water elements and lounge areas.

Concert admission is $12.
