Ten Clear Lake-area runners complete Funfest Run by the Bay 10K

Ten Clear Lake-area runners completed the Funfest Run by the Bay 10K on Saturday, June 9 in Texas City.

Gabor Olah, 37, and Jorge Neira, 25, were among the fastest Galveston runners to finish. They completed the race in 33:13 and 45:44, respectively. Other Galveston runners who participated are Bart Tate, Jill Thompson, Reginald Harden, John Benson, and Paul Boor.

The Friendswood runners are Julio Salazar, 46, who completed the race in 43:18; Bijou Chacko, 45, who crossed the finish line in Yvonne Diersche, 47, who took 1:09:03.
