Futurist Peter Bishop to speak at Clear Lake meeting
The Bay Area Association of Democratic Women welcomes Dr. Peter C. Bishop to its June meeting.
Bishop, associate professor of strategic foresight and director of the graduate program in futures studies at the University of Houston, will speak at 7 p.m. June 21 at the Bay Area Community Center, 5002 E. NASA Parkway, Seabrook.
A founding board member of the Association of Professional Futurists, he also is president of his own firm, which offers education and training in futures thinking and techniques to the corporate market.
Prior to Bishop's presentation will be a networking session at 6:30 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public, with new members welcome.
BAAD Women hosts meetings the third Thursday of the month and features speaker discussions on issues of interest to the community. For more information, visit baadwomen.org.
