Hotel Galvez celebrates 101 years

Hotel Galvez is celebrating its 101st anniversary during brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 10.

Brunch guests will be treated to a special anniversary cake and a complimentary commemorative poster.

Advance reservations are recommended.

Hotel Galvez's Sunday brunch was named Houston's Top Brunch by users of OpenTable and was featured in Southern Living magazine as one of the Best Brunches in Texas.

Cost is $38.95 for adults, $32.95 for seniors, $22.95 for children ages 6-11 and free for children younger than 6.

Also on June 10, dinner guests will receive a complimentary dessert with their meal.

Guests are also encouraged to view the hotel's Hall of History on the lower level.
