Taylor Lake Council meets Wednesday
The Taylor Lake Village City Council will hold a meeting at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 6 in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 500 Kirby Blvd. in Taylor Lake Village.
The meeting will open with a call to order and a roll call. Following this will be the approval of minutes, during which the council will discuss consideration and possible action on the approval of the City Council minutes of May 2.
Next will be council reports and announcements.
In committee reports, the council will discuss the receiving of reports from city commissions and committees.
After this, the meeting will be open to public comments, the receiving of petitions and citizens' comments.
In new business, the council will consider possible action on Resolution 12-893, renewing an agreement with Harris County Watershed Protection group managing the compliance for the MS4 requirements of TCEQ with an annual amount of $1,878.32.
The council will also discuss allowing Bernard Patten to have fireworks on July 4 unless Harris County issues a burn ban, possible action on Resolution 12-894 to reappoint Michael Thomas as animal control officer and possible action on accepting an engagement letter from Belt Harris Pechacek for fiscal years 2012 and 2013.
The City Council of the City of Taylor Lake Village will then hold a closed executive meeting to consider an action of offering Jack Fryday a contract as the building official for Taylor Lake Village.
The meeting will close with authorizations, considering action concerning approval of invoices for payment.
