Woman dies in Atascocita Road crash
A local woman is dead after a one-vehicle accident in the 500 block of Atascocita Road.
Police say Ludivina Acevedo died at the scene after driving a silver 2012 Nissan Rogue into a ditch at about 8:22 a.m. Wednesday, May 30.
She hit a concrete culvert on the north side of the road, struck a speed limit sign and then crashed the vehicle into a tree, according to a Harris County traffic report.
Members of the Harris County Sheriff's Office Traffic Enforcement Division reported that Acevedo was not wearing a seat belt.
