Seven-year-old Ryan Rouineb walked across the stage holding a rose in memory of his uncle John Lawrence at the University of Houston-Clear Lake's spring commencement ceremony.
Lawrence died unexpectedly during spring break and was awarded a posthumous master of counseling degree.
