Assisteens elect new board members
The Bay Area Assisteens elected their incoming board for the 2012-2013 school year.
The Bay Area Assisteens elected their incoming board for the 2012-2013 school year. The incoming members will be installed May 20. Grace Baliker, a junior at Clear Lake High, will lead the more-than-200 volunteer members as chairwoman.
The new board will be installed at the group's last meeting of the year May 20 at the Terrace of Clear Lake.
The new board consists of Chairwoman-elect Ariana Katsigiannis; Vice Chairman/Membership Chandler Nelson; Vice Chairman/Philanthropic Natalie Matthews; Vice Chairman/Fundraising Mary Cordes; Resale Shop Coordinator Brooke Culbertson; Public Relations chief, Haley Derauf; Secretary McKenzie Swan; and Treasurer Morgan Fatora.
Assisteens is an auxiliary of Assistance League of the Bay Area. It is made up of members from grades nine through 12 who meet once a month for a meeting before embarking on various philanthropic projects.
