Friendswood color guard wins championship
The Friendswood Junior High Color Guard won its fourth state championship March 24 at Dripping Springs High School.
The color guard's performance was titled "Turn to Stone."
The program gives girls the opportunity to experience color guard at a beginning level, providing the building block to the high school color guard program.
Members of the FJH Color Guard are Brianna Bordelon, Kiersten Deschner, Riki Ellard, MacKenzie Finch, Bailey Harris, MacKenzie Harris, Nathalie Heimeyer, Courtney Huning, Melissa Puebla, Kellee Ramirez, Julie Ratliff, Aleah Thomas and Angel Yancy.
