A group of students from San Jacinto College Central competed recently in the Gulf Coast Intercollegiate Consortium Jazz Festival, and many of them earned outstanding musicianship awards.
Students who earned awards were Samantha Ghandoura, Evan Todd, Emma Simmons, Erwin Vreugdenhil, Pablo Castillo and Trevor Brantley.
