Families encouraged to attend Operation KidSafe event

Operation Kidsafe will hold two child safety events where parents can get a lifetime record of a child's digital fingerprints.

The event is free and includes a form that parents can hand to law enforcement officials in the event of an emergency.

The Bayshore Operation Kidsafe event will take place from noon to 6 p.m. March 17 at Bayshore Chrysler Dodge Jeep, 5225 I-10 E., Baytown.

The Houston Operation Kidsafe event will take place from noon to 6 p.m. March 18 at Bayway Lincoln-Volvo, 12333 Gulf Freeway, Houston.
