Police hope photos of suspects T-shirt encourage tips
Pasadena Police and Crime Stoppers are banking on a forgery suspect’s distinctive clothing to prompt tips to the identity of a man who defrauded a local resident in October and has continued to dodge police.
The suspect, described as a white male, 24 to 29 years old and weighing from 250-300 pounds, with red facial hair and glasses, was wearing a black T-shirt that reads, “Have you seen my zombie?” He also was wearing a black baseball cap, which appeared to have been turned backward.
According to a news release from Katherine Cabaniss, executive director of Crime Stoppers of Houston, the man allegedly cashed a stolen check at a bank in the 19700 block of the Northwest Freeway at about 11:15 a.m. Oct. 24.
The victim had received the check in the mail, and authorities are unsure how it ended up in the possession of the suspect, who has been seen in the area of State Highway 290 and FM 1960 on several occasions.
Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Crime Stoppers of Houston at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for any information called in to the tips line or submitted online at crime-stoppers.org that leads to the filing of felony charges or arrest of the suspect. Tips may also be sent by text message by texting TIP610 plus the tip to CRIMES (274637). All tipsters remain anonymous.
