Pasadena High athletic trainer wins grant

Jeremy Jackson, a sports medicine teacher and athletics trainer at Pasadena High School, has been awarded a $2,500 grant from the Association of Texas Professional Educators.
Jackson submitted a proposal that involves giving sports medicine classes the ability to make their own training videos and presentations that can be accessed on YouTube, Facebook, smartphones and iPods.
ATPE Public Relations Director Larry Comer presented the check to Jackson during the Pasadena ISD's board of trustees January meeting.
