San Jacinto College welcomes students from China
San Jacinto College Central Campus, 8060 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, welcomed 15 high school students from Nankai High School in Tianjin, China.
The students from China met with campus president Dr. H. Neil Matkin, toured the campus and got to speak with professors about available educational programs at the school. Students got to see a LPHS musical, a Houston Rockets game and make visits to Space Center Houston and the San Jacinto Monument during their one-week visit to the United States.
The students got to visit as part of a program by the La Porte Education Foundation and La Porte Independent School District.
