Pasadena Independent School District names new personnel
Several personnel moves in the Pasadena Independent School district were announced, including Franklin Moses as new principal for Dobie High School.
Moses has served as assistant principal at Dobie High since 2005, and will be the school's fifth principle. He succeeds Steve Jamail, who is retiring after 11 years.
The district's board of trustees also announced Steve Fleming as the first principal of Career and Technology High School, which has yet to be built. Fleming, former assistant principal of Memorial High School, previously served as a chemistry and physical science teacher at Pasadena High School from 1989 to 1999 before taking on the role of instructional specialist with the district.
The resignation of John Snelson, head football coach at Memorial High School, was also announced. He will take the head coach position at Dickinson High School. Snelson coached for six seasons at Memorial High School, leading his team to the state playoffs each year.
Finally, Kevin Fornof was named associate superintendent for facilities and construction. Fornof was previously the director of facility development in the Crowley Independent School District.
