HS girls basketball: Rayburn defeats Pasadena
Rayburn overpowered Pasadena 72-28 in District 22-5A girls high school basketball action on Tuesday.
The win ups Rayburn to 5-11 overall and 1-1 in district play.
Mariah Armeun scored a game-high 20 points in the victory.
Rayburn will next visit Memorial on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
The loss drops Pasadena to 5-13 overall and 0-2 in district play.
Kera Chambers netted 15 points in the loss.
Pasadena will next visit Dobie on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
