Crime Stoppers, HPD seek help finding suspect in string of burglaries
Investigators are asking the public for help in solving a string of burglaries plaguing a local strip mall.
Investigators say during the past eight months, an unidentified burglar has targeted South Wayside Village, located in the 5800 block of Gulf Freeway.
Surveillance photographs show the suspect breaking into a restaurant on the 6900 block of Gulf Freeway, right after he broke a window at a nearby liquor store, according to a Crime Stoppers news release.
The suspect is described as a black male between the age of 30 and 35, who stands 6 feet tall. He is bald, with a trimmed mustache and beard, and a large tattoo on the right forearm.
