HS girls basketball preview: Crosby vs. Dobie

Crosby and Dobie will battle in girls high school basketball action on Thursday, at the Lady Gander Tip-Off Classic.

Last season Crosby finished at 7-13 overall and 7-7 in district play.

Alea Godfrey averaged 15 points a game for the team as a sophomore.

Crosby will next host Nederland on Friday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Dobie is 1-0 on the season, winning  50-46 over Friendswood on Monday.

Shanequa Gaeston scored 25 points in the opening game.

Next up for Dobie is a visit to Cinco Ranch on Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m.

Thursday’s tip-off is slated for 8 a.m.
