Pasadena nature center to hold annual Harvest Festival
The Martyn Farm at Armand Bayou Nature Center will host its Harvest Festival, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13 at the center, located at 8500 Bay Area Blvd.
The festival features crafts, products and activities that played an important role in the life of a Gulf Coast farm family, according to a press release. The celebration will begin with a Veterans Day ceremony beginning at 10 a.m. on Nov. 12.
Other activities will include music, dancing, pie-eating contests, cloggers and more. Food will be available for sale.
Admission to the festival costs $10, $5 for children 4 to 12. Limited parking is available at the nature center for $3. Free satellite parking and shuttle service will be available in parking lot D at the University of Houston Clear Lake, 2700 Bay Area Blvd.
