City of Pasadena halts free trash bag service

The city of Pasadena is expecting to reap up to $1 million in savings a year, having recently stopped its free trash bag service while allowing more options for packaging trash. The paper bags are being sold during regular business hours at the Water Billing Office at City Hall, 1211 Southmore, or at the Sanitation Department, 120 N. Pasadena Blvd.
